Mike’s Communications was founded by Mike Welsh with a simple goal: to deliver high-quality telecommunications work while building a company culture people are proud to be part of.
Mike's Communications specializes in the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial and underground fibre optic infrastructure, working as trusted subcontractors for major internet service providers.
Precision, safety, and attention to detail are at the core of everything we do, ensuring reliable networks built to last.
As our company continues to grow, we’ve expanded our capabilities to meet unique and challenging environments. We have invested in our own custom barge, allowing us to perform submarine fibre installations and connect land and water. Our crews complete installations on both land and water, providing access to private islands and water-access-only properties that many others simply cannot reach.

Catchment Area
Mike's Communication's shop and office are both located in Huntsville, Ontario.
Our current catchment area includes the District Municipality of Muskoka, the District of Parry Sound and Haliburton County. Our current projects are based in these regions but our capabilities extend well beyond them. We're happy to mobilize wherever the right opportunity takes us.
